05 Center for Laboratory control of Infectious Diseases

Center for Laboratory control of Infectious Diseases identifies and analyzes the infectious pathogens, develops laboratory testing methods and diagnostic reagents, and distributes them to frontline in order to respond quickly and accurately to outbreak.

Center for Laboratory control of Infectious Diseases identifies pathogens of infectious disease threat to public health and safety in order to respond quickly and accurately. In addition, it analyzes genetical, morphological, and physiological characters of the pathogens to monitor their changing. Center for Laboratory control of Infectious Diseases develops testing methods and reagents and distributes them for identification of causative pathogens at the outbreak site. Furthermore, it conducts education and quality assessment for public health laboratories to sustain their capacity.
